We are Joe and Kerry Vivian—Husband and Wife since June of 1990. Father and Mother of two amazing women of God, a Godly son-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters!
I, Joe Vivian, am the Children’s and Families Pastor at Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Albuquerque, NM. I have served there since December of 2007.
Kerry is the Mid-School Science teacher at Eastern Hills Christian Academy. She has taught for over 30 years and has been at EHCA since 1999.
We do not claim to have the best marriage or the perfect marriage. We constantly work at “falling forward” in our marriage. Every day we work at sacrificially loving each other and there are times that that work is very trying and stressful on our relationship.
However, we stay focused on our relationship with God and continually are wrought by His hand. We have seen throughout the years that many marriages are in disarray, as was ours, and we know firsthand that when you seek the Holiness of God first, your marriage will begin to grow and strengthen. No marriage is out of the redeeming hand of God, if you seek His hand of redemption.
Our heart and passion is for Biblical Marriages to be strengthened through God and God alone, and to encourage and equip parents so as to raise them up as children who know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
That’s what we are all about—simple obedience to Him.
